What's a service like?
Highland Heights is a biblically based evangelical church. Our Worship Services include praise through music, a time of reflection and communion, and a time of Biblical teaching by one of the pastors. The 8:30 AM service is more traditional with organ music and hymns. The 10:30 AM service includes a praise team of musicians that lead the congregation in a blended variety of traditional and contemporary songs. Music is chosen for the lyrics more than the tune. HHCC strives to make every part of our service bring glory to God. We pray that you will "see" Jesus here.
How should I dress?
Please come in comfortable dress. Jeans are welcome, ties are allowed but not required.
What is available for kids?
HHCC has a nursery available during both services for children infant to age 5. During 8:30 AM service there are Sunday School classes for children (age 5 and older) through adult. During the 10 AM service there is Kid's Own Worship for children age 5 through 5th grade.
We celebrate Communion weekly
Jesus gave us the service of communion as a memorial to call our attention to the price He paid for our sins...death on a cross. If Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you are invited to partake. During the 8:30 Am service Deacons will serve the elements to the congregation, please partake when served. At the 10:00 Am service, communion stations are available in the front and along the back of the sanctuary. Each individual is encouraged to prepare their hearts in prayer in the their seats or in the prayer area located in the back of the sanctuary. Please partake when you are ready.
