DUTIES OF THE MISSION TEAM

It is the whole duty of the whole church to tell the

whole gospel to the whole world!

Acts 1:8 (The foundation and the keystone of missions.)

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Matthew 28:19-20

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

1. Each contact person to pray primarily for the mission effort that you are responsible for.

2. Pray for our mission team and all our responsibilities daily.

3. Learn all you can about: your mission and those people working there; the country and area of the work; the current needs of the mission (spiritual, physical or prayer) and inform the Team.

4. Have a missionary speaker in the church, as available and approved by the pastor and/or elders, yearly if possible.

5. Emphasize missions in a power point (rolling announcement) as a “Mission of the Month” for Sunday morning worship services.

6. Change Bulletin Board monthly with current mission highlighted.

7. Plan/attend quarterly Mission Team Meeting(s) if possible.
